These files are made up of Nickel Titanium alloy. They have a non-uniform taper. They are used for Bio Mechanical Preparation of Root Canals and utilize the Crown down Technique. S2 has a tip diameter of 0.2mm. It is a shaping file that works in the middle one third of the canal.
