It is a resorbable fiber that has tetracycline HCL in it. It acts as a local delivery method for delivering the antibiotic at the site of inflammation/infection. This fiber in association with Scaling & Root Planing shows better results in periodontal diseases compared to Scaling & Root Planing alone.
