Articaine is a dental amide-type local anesthetic. It is the most widely used local anesthetic in a number of European countries.Septanest® SP is indicated for local, infiltrative, or conductive anesthesia in both simple and complex dental procedures. Septanest® SP with epinephrine 1:100,000 is preferred during operative or surgical procedures when improved visualization of the surgical field is desirable.
