Wooden Wedges-SDP

These are small, tapering, triangular pieces of wood about 1/2 inch in length. They come in various shapes and sizes and can be modified according to the size of the site where the placement is required. Usually used in class II cavities. They should be placed as near to the gingival cavosurface margin as possible without being occlusal to it.
